I am posting for a friend who cant get an ID at the moment.
The question is: he has all the needed documents for renewing his contract at his public school, contract, apostilled criminal record check, form, health check (hiv/tpbe), everything.
How long will it take to process his documents and have the extension stamped on his ARC and the visa on his passport once he takes it to the immigration office?
Other's experiences posted here would help also. thanks. |

Assuming he has the medical as well it will take about 15-20 minutes AFTER he gets to the counter to complete his extension/renewal.
f you wish to renew your contract at your current school, you will need the following documents ;
1. Visa Extension Application
2. Passport and your Alien Registration Card
3. New contract
4. Sponsorship Certificate (from school)
5. A copy of Certificate of School / Business Registration (from school)
6. Processing Fee (30k for the extension + 50k if you want to get your multi-re-entry at the same time - note: UK citizens get it free and US citizens must get one if they renew (and plan to travel) because their multi-entry privilege does not carry over from the original visa)
7. New Criminal Record Certificate, apostillized
8. New Health Check Certificate
note: if he does NOT get a re-entry permit there is NO stamp or mark made in the passport - only a notation made on the back of his ARC.
