|
|
I walked into my apartment building and something huge basically flew directly into my mouth.
it didnt seem small but i didnt get a very good look at it and it was impossible to avoid swallowing it completely.
I can this is a first, im not sure if i should be worried.
Anyone want to take bets on whether or not I'll be alive in the morning? |

Theres a difference between ingesting something and being bitten by it.
Average person swallows several spiders in their lifetime. Some of them at least, venomous.
you'll be OK. |

you're posting on the wrong forum - you should look for one with a lot of bikers on it - everyone knows they swallow hordes of bugs |

| The bugs are hardy here. It'll probably fly out your ass tomorrow morning as you take your pre-breakfast shit, pause to bite you on the helmet, then escape to victory. |

| Even if the bug were poisonous, drinking soju would undoubtedly be the perfect solution. It can do wonders! |

There are these spiders quite common in the UK called Daddy Long Legs, they are big and one of the most dangerous spiders on the planet due to them being full of cyanide. However, they can't bite humans due to their weak teeth. So would eating one kill you?
Anyway responding to the OP - if it didn't bite you before going down, you'll be fine. Stings in the mouth are a bitch. It must have been waiting for you, sounds like it was desperate for some oral action. |

| That sucks. I swallwed most (I pulled a couple of legs and wings out) of a dragonfly at 35 KPH while on my bicycle last summer. Not my first choice of bug, and boy did that sucker wriggle around a lot. |

Mythbusters did a show with the Daddy Long Legs. (s01e13) It can bite people but its venom is practically harmless to humans. |
