I'm half a day's travel from Seoul and hoping someone here can tell me how far the Swedish Embassy is from the Nambu Bus Terminal.
Here's the address:
Seoul Central Bldg., 12th Fl.
136 Seorin-dong, Chongro-ku
Seoul
Can I take the subway? How far and approx how much would it be if I took the taxi? Any info would be highly appreciated!
Thanks! |

Chongro-ku? Sounds like Jongno-gu. Might be right downtown. Try googling the same address with jongno-gu instead, maybe you'll be able to find it on a map. |

I'm seriously a noob when it comes to Seoul and I don't wanna ask around because they'll ask questions that's directly related to my renewal of contract. There must be some Swedes out there that had to go to the Embassy.
Here's a cut-out of the Subway Map - is this exit correct? If so, which one?

Whenever I call the Swedish Embassy in Seoul, it hangs up on me. There's only 3-options after choosing English and all of them just hangs-up on you. Does anyone else have a different number? The one I have is: +82 2 3703 3700
I've also looked up the building and the address is listed slightly differently on 3 different sites.
I also tried emailing them - no response yet.
According to the Migration Board their phone hours are supposed to be from 9am - 5pm. Help |

Whenever you make contact, see if they have any used Swedish cars for sale. You could do a lot worse than buying an Embassy-maintained SAAB or Volvo.
Years ago, I bought a SAAB 900 (for all of US $ 3,000) off the Swedish Embassy in Abu Dhabi and, tho' I hesitate to use this verb on a mere object, I loved that car. But no mere car was that, so well built, solid, and quick. I've since gone off car ownership, but everytime I walk past a SAAB, I always have a long and wistful look. |

Thanks for the car info. But I really need info on the location of the embassy.

From the map provided on their webpage, looks to be near the British Embassy. Find that and you should be able to find the Swedish one. |

Subway line 5, Gwang Hwa Mun station, exit 5. It should be next to the Gwang Hwa Mun post office.
광화문 = Gwang Hwa Mun in Korean. |

I love you! Thank you! By chance, would you happen to know any decent hotels nearby? I live so far into the boonies and they're only open for 2.5 hours that I have to leave the night before.
Again, thanks! |
