|
|
ok before you all jump all over me.. I got this title/idea from the season opening 30 ROCK Episode where Alec Baldwin has this great idea for a reality show - called "Milf Island".
I still laugh at that one each time I hear it.
but I was at Seoul Tower the other week, and was surrouded by these young Korean moms and their young tots/kids and I was reminded of Alec Baldwin's concept.. and thought to myself.. MILF island indeed!
hahahahhahaha
I think it's fair to say that though the US is somewhat of a home for the world's hottest milf (Angelina Jolie) that Korea overall would have North America beat.. and not by a mile but several miles.
Demographics are one part of it... (btw.. how is it that Seoul is so full of young women? where are the men and the old(er) women?)
your average Korean mom is easily 10 years younger than her North American counterpart.
take that and the fact Koreans/Orientals look even younger.. and then assume the Korean will weight on average 50 lbs (or more) LESS than her NA counterpart and you have..
MILF peninsula
Seriously - I probably look more at MILF's around here, than younger women/girls. |

| I would agree that Korean MILF's are better than their North American counterparts, but the more I see Korean woman the less beautiful I think they are. I remember when I first came her, how I thought all Korean women were beautiful. I was always shocked when I discovered the ages of some of these women. Now, I don't think that. I think Japanese woman of all demographics are more beautiful than their Korean counterparts. |

oooh dunno about that (the Japanese). I'll weigh in once I go to Japan for a visit (which I plan to do, perhaps during the 3-4 day weekend in Sept.
shocked as to ages? in what way?
older than you thought? younger? or what? |

| They were always older than what I thought. I have been here for many years now, so I am good at guessing their ages and am rarely surprised. I like the Japanese more because I have found most of them have'soft looking' features on their faces, which I like. This is something which I find most Korean women lacking, at least where I live. |

| Well Koreans tend to be on average the tallest in Asia I believe. But all of this comes down to personal taste. I tend to like short women, which is very unsual in men I think. Also I tend to like softer looking women, another thing which I think most men would disagree about with me. So it all just comes down to what you like. I do agree that Koreans on average are betting looking than westerners. Also, ironically I am married to a Korean. I managed to find a woman here with a soft face, hehe |

I'm not sure I'd agree with several of your assumptions
a) I know lots of guys who like shorter women... the bias is FAR more pronounced in women, who inevitably seek tall(er) men.
b) I think most men DO like "softer looking" (that means ones with delicate features) women. I actually am far less bothered by "stronger" female features than a lot of guys I know. And... IMHO, Korean female features tend to be on the "soft/delicate" side for sure.
one thing I know I wouldn't put up with is the Korean female stereotype propagated on this board (of the rotten spoiled princesss who expects you to jump around her hand on foot when she pouts and carry her pink bag)
they're not that hot (I find Latin women far more attractive and a Latin woman would lose all respect for you if you reacted to her tantrums and pouts, much less walked around holding her pink bag)
but I don't know Korean women well enough to offer a constructive opinion.
I do know my twenty something Korean coworker teachers easily spend around half their free time during the day looking in personal mirror, adjusting their hair/makeup, and the other half on chat lines.
It's really quite amusing. |

| I have been talking from my own personal experience and with people I have talked too. With liking short women and softer looking women I have been in the minority with regards to my friends. I do have to disagree with you about the majority of Korean women having soft features, especially with the MILF's. However, I live in the city which is considered by Korean men to have, on average, the ugliest looking women in Korea. Also, I do agree with you on the personalities of Korean women. Thankfully my wife does not have most of those personalties. She actually criticizes Korean women who spend all day looking in the mirror. Also, she can't wait for the U.S. beef to come to Korea!!!! |

Angelina Jolie? I guess I'm in the minority. I never cared for her much.
MILFs in Korea? When I worked in Cheongju, I would see moms my age or younger (I'm 34), and the women looked like complete wrecks.
Now I'm in Bundang, and I have noticed that a lot of the students have really attractive moms. There's quite a difference, really. But I would agree with some of the people on here that Korean women don't age that well. But that's just my opinionated opinion. |

That was a pretty funny idea. I like how they get to stay on the island if the 14 year olds vote "I'd still tap that". |

chances are if you went to a daycare in bundang or kangnam you would probably see a lot of hot young mommies ..... they likely married older sucessful men who like hot chicks, and they popped out a kid or two.....
seeing as many of them marry for cash money, and their appearance is what got them the rich dude, they still try to look hot even though they are in the 30s or 40s....because their looks is all they got |

not a bad trade.
a fair trade, matter of fact.
apart from N. America and some Western European countries that are now getting fat, there is actually a fair amount of societal pressure for women (and men for that matter) not to "let themselves go".
I see lots of Eastern European milfs in my NA hometown.
that's why if you get married, it'd be most unwise to bring her back to the US. Within a decade she'll not only watch Oprah regularly but start looking like Oprah. |

I think a tall woman seeks out men about the same height. They don't want their kids to be freaky giants, but they don't want a boyfriend who needs a stepladder either.
Short women are definitely totally into tall men. They want their kids to be taller than they were. |

| I agree. Korean women don't age gracefully. Once they hit their late 30s they start resembling Kim Jung Ill more and more every year |
