please, help me pick my players for my next fantasy football matchup...post your players and their opponent teams here and i and perhaps others will pimp your line-up.

here are the players i have picked as my starters for week 3

Starters

Philip Rivers(SD - QB) vs NYJ
Chris Chambers(SD - WR) vs NYJ
Lee Evans(Buf - WR) vs Oak
Earnest Graham(TB - RB) vs Chi
Adrian Peterson(Min - RB) vs Car
TE Jason Witten(Dal - TE) vs GB
Larry Johnson(KC - RB) vs Atl

here are the players on my bench

Bench

Jonathan Stewart(Car - RB) vs Min
Pierre Thomas(NO - RB) vs Den
Jon Kitna(Det - QB) vs SF
Bryant Johnson(SF - WR) vs Det
Justin Gage(Ten - WR) vs Hou

my question is, in your valued opinion, am i going with the right players or should i switch some and replace them with players from my bench? which players if any?

thanks... Cool

I would leave it as is. Might be tempted to put Stewart in, but not a very favorable match-up vs the Vikings D, and not sure who I would replace him with.

PS Are you a Bucs fan?

thanks dude... i'm considering starting Stewart instead of L. Johnson because of LJ's poor performance in the first 2 weeks. Stewart did score 2 touch downs last game while on my bench so i don't want to make the same mistake this week.

i'm a Dallas fan but i do dig the Bucs...

i'm also a member of the same FF league you're in but you're way atop me...i'm the player in that league way down under...care to pimp my line-up in our league? post yours and i'll return the favor but with not as much heavy metal football know-how as you, rockstar...

good luck this week as if you need it. Cool

Dude I play you this week! So much for helping you haha. Actually, it looks as though it will be a tight match-up...

Did you get the NFL HD game pass? If not, I'd definately check it out...

Good Luck man (kind of)...

If I were you, you can't change your line up (thought I don't like Larry Johnson, I think he's over-rated, and Phillip Rivers I don't think will continue his production but that's an aside), I'd try to get a wr. You're weak in the wr dept.

You might try to get Edwards from Cin. who has under-performed. Or Hines Ward who's kinda over-performed. Or Santonio Holmes. Your bench is just trash so I don't know how that's gonna go down, maybe find someone who needs a QB and trade Kitna and someone. I like your rbs/te (except Johnson, who will probably disappoint) but the rest probably could use improvement.

Actually I'd trade Larry Johnson for a wr with an extra pic. I mean a good one if you could. That's what I'd do with your hand. The Chiefs suck, they just lost to my Raiders for gods sake. They're gonna be behind in most games. So then the run game is abandoned.

So f Larry Johnson. Trade him plus a gimp for a *good receiver*. Like a Reggie Wayne. Never know what you can get. You could even gamble and try to trade garbage for Marques Coleston from the Saints who's injured. 5 weeks in, you might be saying, damn I made a killing. But get a decent receiver from him and you'll be sitting pretty. (well to be honest, your lineup has an uphill climb, but if Rivers is for real you can ride that).

Dude, you are highly overvaluing LJ. LJ will barely get you kicker these days. Assuming LJ + "gimp" = top tier receiver is just embarrassing.

Especially now, that he has had some thoughts about quitting on the team.

Unhappy with his role in a dismal offense, Johnson lashed out at Kansas City's coaching staff and front office Sunday, saying he didn't see himself being a part of the team in the future. .

Sounds like someone who would rather save himself for his next team.

Yeah, getting a Reggie Wayne for LJ is dreaming. Still, sometimes guys make dumb deals cause they root for the team guys are on.

But here's a guy you might get -Jerricho Crotchery, he's been so-so but I think he's still got a lot of upside.

Braylon Edwards *might* be gettable if you gave LJ plus a decent player. He was a real disappointment for me this week.

As I type this I'm listening to Espn fantasy football podcast (which is great and funny), and Mathew Barry is saying "If I could get 50 cents on the dollar for LJ I'd take it. I'd drop him as soon as I could. You need to get Jamal Charles now. I'd trade him for anything you can get!"

Also, David Patten might be available. He's gonna be Brees' main target now that Colsten's hurt.

Larry Johnson is now being replaced in the Chiefs' goal-line package.

L.J. was in and out against New England near the goal line in Week 1 and didn't play on Kansas City's lone scoring drive in Week 2. It isn't like the Chiefs are going to be in scoring position often this year, but goal-line carries were about the only thing L.J. had left going for him.

The scream heard around the world were LJ owners who took him in the first or second rounds.

guilty! Embarassed

the goddam Chiefs were supposed to be a contender! they could've had class and been somebody! real class. instead of a bum team, let's face it, which is what they are...BASTARDS! Evil or Very Mad
