[nomad-ish]

i'm teaching a class for one hour twice a week, which is technically an extra-type of class but it's still within my 22 hrs/week. anyways, my issue is they've shoved 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders into this class with me, and the range of these kids is extreme

if anyone has any suggestions about what i can do with them, i'd be very grateful! i'm in middle school by the way

Not sure about materials, but I would suggest having them in groups of mixed ability. In activities the stronger ones should help the weaker ones.

The learning shouldn't be too academic because of the different levels. You can always throw in some meat for the higher level Ss to chew on and still learn stuff. Have the better Ss help you in the class, haps by being group leaders for activities or something.

Any games and activities should not emphasis individual knowledge, but try and do group stuff which is not ultra competitive.
