Hey i would like some advice please. I work for the company Win Education in an after school program. the job is fine, very easy with minimum stress. However i've lost interest in teaching over the past few months and would like to quit. I feel bad for my students because I lack any motivation to teach them properly. My contact is finishing in the March 2009 but i want to quit at the start of December.

In my contract I am required to give 60 days notice and i must indemnify the employer for breach of housing contract. I have no problem giving the notice at the start of October and then finishing at the start of December as I'd like. I'm just worried whether this will work as planned.

I want to leave in December because i need to earn another few months salary to pay for flights and other things when i leave korea.Because of this I don't want to leave any earlier than December. My main concern is that my company will get somebody to replace me after a few weeks of me giving notice. What is the law with this? If i give 60 days notice does that mean that I am entitled to work until the 60 days are up? Or can they get a replacement when they like and kick me out?

Anyway sorry for such a long post

There you go maka.

There are people with F type visas interested in taking over your job. So you should find these people who are interested first. Then just give your boss 30 days notice with recommendation of few friends who are interested.

It'll be a win-win situation for you and your boss.
