Condition: used

I bought a white MSI wind about a month ago and I'm just kinda over it. It works great, but I prefer a mac to a windows machine. This is a very light computer (1 kg or 2.2 pounds!) that can easily be used anywhere. It surfs the net quickly and the screen is great for watching movies. I had been using this computer in the classroom to do multi-media presentations.

It is fully loaded and in perfect condition. It has an English operating system (Windows XP) which I had to pay to get installed on the machine. The Winds sold in Korea come with a Korean OS and it is partitioned so it's hard to load up your own os.

It's in near perfect condition and comes with all the accessories.

These machines have been sold out for months in Korea and America, so this will be a very good chance to get one. I'm asking 500,000 won or best offer. I know in America they go for 500,000 but in Korea they have been selling for 600-650. Also, the white models are completely sold out-most of the time the only opinion is black.

I am located in Haebangchon and I work in Jeongja Bundang, so either location would be fine to complete the sale.

Thanks,

Dan

here's the specs for this machine. it has an 80 gig hard drive, 1 gig ram, 1.3 megapixel camera, and everything else standard.

Can it play 1280x720 .h264?

My Pentium M 1.5ghz Thinkpad with 2GB of memory struggles to play that. There is maaaad stutter in the video.

If your notebook can play that smoothly then I'll consider taking it.

how much memory is in yours? what size is the webcam? what size is the battery? You give options in your ad as though we have the choice. If that's the case though, please forgive me.

It's not likely off the top of my head. The Atom is designed around size, price and efficiency, not power.

I'm guessing the Atom would have similar power to your chip.

The website that John went to was really dated.

The releases off the machine kept on getting delayed and when they finally released the netbook, they raised the prices. If you go to amazon.com and do a search. you see much higher prices 569-599 and you'll notice that they are ALL SOLD OUT.

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_pc?url=search-alias%3Delectronics&field-keywords=msi+wind&x=0&y=0

Also, we are in Korea, so shipping an American computer here will cost almost 200-250 dollars extra.

They are $480 in the US (see BestBuy) and $550 in Korea (in Yongsan last weekend). Putting on a new OS is a 15minute job to not really a selling point to me.

When you say near perfect condition, what makes it not in perfect condition? I am interested, however.

What battery does your computer have? Is it the 3-cell or the 6-cell. That makes for quite a difference in price. With the three cell battery these computers get 2-3hours; a 6-cell battery is up around 5-6 hours.

If your computer has the 6-cell battery, then 500,000 is reasonable. If it only has the 3-cell, then I think you're asking a little much.
