Apparently the Won is doing badly against the dollar recently, however the dollar is picking up against the Euro.
So, overall, what's the picture for the Won and the Euro? |

that depends on what happens to dollar/euro at 1.43, a fairly major support level which we are close to and will test shortly.
given the scale of the recent move, the euro should bounce there.
but one never knows. |

I don't understand some of your lingo. What's a support level? When you say 'bounce', do you mean go down and then come up again? |

support level - technical/chart level where one thinks a selloff will stop, no matter how temporarily.
resistance level - technical/chart level where one thinks a rally will stall, no matter how temporarily.
basically, though I'd have to do the numbers... the won vs the Euro has probably held fairly steady in the last couple of months, while the won vs the dollar has lost (depending on where you start counting... 8-15%)
whilst the won has gone from 1000 to 1136 (or whatever it is now). the euro has gone from a high of 1.60 vs USD to below 1.44 now.
if the euro bounces at 1.43 (I suspect it will, but it will be a consolidation bounce) and the won continues to fall, then it'll be bad for won/euro. |
