So I live in the boondocks here in Gyeongbuk and its all going well and all. But the lack of people to hangout with or just plain talk too is starting to get to me.
The teachers at my school seem to like me, and there all pretty young, in their 20's. So I'd like to be their friend and hangout after school or do something on the weekend etc...... how should I go about this? I've invited them over for dinner and they say the'yre busy at the moment. Point granted,. This is a hard nut to crack I think.
Any thoughts? |

Your situation reminds me like when you're a college freshman and you're so amped up to make firends, but you won't make friends with sophomores or + because they already have their cliques. (Valley girl attitude intended)
How long have you been there? And how old are you? If you're like 50, and these kids are like 20's it's affect how they see you.
Try to pick up Korean. That way you can get a weekend exchange with them, build up friendship they learn and you learn. Win Win situation. |
