Confirmed Coke (Coca-Cola) addict here.

I'm pretty picky. I don't like it much if it's in plastic or warm or without ice. It needs to be in a class bottle or a fast-food style cup. Mmmm...

I will drink about any kind of pop, but Coke is #1.

I'll have some when it comes with a pizza, but I never actively seek it out.

Oh yeah, except for McCol. For some reason I love the stuff.

Yeah same for me here. I rarely drink it these days. I guess my consumption is about a 250 mL can a week.

It is good for aiding digestion of oily foods, which water doesn't mix well.
Always good with pizza or chinese food.
Green tea after chinese meal is traditional in China.

Maybe the best thing about Korea is Coke from a glass bottle!! Very Happy

But I really miss Lilt from the UK. That was my number one choice at home.

But coke is the best with food.

It's been a long while since I've heard, "soda pop." Try ordering a soda pop or even a Coca-cola and see how confused your server gets. I drink cola only on occasion and enjoyed one today.

Korea has the classic American Coke in a glass green bottle, but only at select restaurants as I can't find it in stores. Only tiny tin cans in stores. I only like soda pop when it's in a glass bottle.

I was surprised when I noticed this summer that Crush, Root beer, even Sprite has sodium benzoate in them, a preservative that isn't healthy. Coca-cola, in contrast, doesn't have it. I used to think Sprite better than Coke because of its lack of caffeine but not any more.

Americans shorten it to "soda", Canadians to "pop".

Confusion is par for the course with terms for that stuff.

Same here, I won't drink Pepsi in Korea. However when I go home, I switch the Pepsi and won't drink Coke in the US. It's kind of a weird thing about the taste of it.

Anyway we should get together and see who can drink more Coke in one sitting. I'll kick your ass any day of the week.

Soda is my one vice in life. I don't drink, smoke, do drugs, etc. But I will admit that I'm a soda addict. I'm also like some of the guys on here. I've got to have ice. Warm soda just tastes nasty. I prefer glass bottles, but I don't have too much of a problem with plastic. Pepsi in Korea tastes terrible. I don't touch it here. However, when I go back home, I do the switch like another poster and I really love the wild cherry pepsi. I can down liters of that stuff. All in all, soda is my version of coffee.
