| Do I have to reissue my ARC (do they have my old ARC# on file) or get a new one with a new #? |

| If ur not extending ur visa u'll get a new card...possibly/probably w/ the same number. |

| They'll give you a new card, but it should have the same number as your previous one. YMMV, however. |

| I had to hand my last ARC in on an exit order. I just got my new card a few weeks ago and it has the same number as the old one. |

| All the folks I know, including myself, do not receive new cards, but simply get a new date handwritten in the row of boxes on the bottom flip side of the ARC... |

That's for an extension, not a new visa.
new visa = new ARC. |
