So I am thinking of traveling around Korea during my winter break. I already know about Pusan and Jeju, but are there any of other good spots to go to? Also, what is the best way to get there. I wouldnt mind taking the train because that way I can see some of the country side. Thanks for any help. |

Gyeongju is pretty good, but touring Korea is best in April, May, and September. You might get a Lonely Planet book as it has more touring info on how to get around and what there's to see than any other source on Korea I've seen.
Buses tend to be the #1 way to get around the country, but there are also trains similar to what you'd ride in European countries. Some places you can only use bus and other places you have your pick. Buses usually run more frequently. |

Go to Mokpo. Its a great seaside resort with a ferry that goes to Hongdo Cheju-do or Haksando. Also Sock-cho has mountains and sandy beaches. |
