This is frustrating the crap out of me.
I know how to get the titles and descriptions in English, but I want to upload videos and the upload page is ALWAYS In Korean regardless of the site home.
Even using the UK youtube, the upload page is in Korean.
How do I fix this???? Arg! |

| Is there a little link in the upper left saying 한국어? If so, just click it so it changes to English. If none of the links in Youtube work, go to your control panel and change your computer's Regional and Language options to UK or whatever English speaking country you want. This should probably work. |

Bangbayed's solution is very good, but unfortunately it requires that Youtube stores a cookie (small file) on your computer to remind itself every time you visit to display in Englishee. If you decide to clear your cookies or if your browser does it automatically from time to time, Youtube will revert back to the language for your country - in this case Korean.
I have found by examining Youtube's cookie file after setting my language preference that a better way is to simply navigate to and bookmark: http://www.youtube.com/?hl=en
This instructs Youtube from the get-go that you'd like the page displayed in English, and it defaults to the Worldwide flavour of Youtube, rather than the region-specific Korean one.
Hope this helps! |
