Quote:
LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- Potential jurors in O.J. Simpson's robbery and kidnapping trial were under the microscope Tuesday as jury selection continued, with at least one saying she believed that the former professional football player was guilty of murder, despite his acquittal in a 1995 trial.

"I felt he got away with murder," the woman told Judge Jackie Glass, saying she doubted she could keep her personal feelings out of the case. "I think he was guilty the first time..."

I was selected once as a potential juror. The case was a young woman who sued her hair dresser for giving her a bad haircut.

When questioned/surveyed by attorneys, I chuckled that my sisters had sometimes locked themselves in the bathroom, crying for hours, after a haircut they regretted. I didn't know what all the fuss was about. And all was well as their hair grew longer or they just styled it another way.

I wasn't selected as a juror.

I got called once too. The case had to do with a high school drop out burglarizing some store. I don't remember how the question came up, but I admitted that I believed that sometimes a person's conscience can be higher than the law. I was not picked either. Very Happy

Laughing good one.

But I don't think you can use that in an armed robbery case.

So, here we have three good examples of people who should be selected for jury duty, but are rejected for being too honest and being able to think.

Instead we juries made up of liars, statists, people with agendas and just plain old dumb guys.

I got called up twice, & empanelled twice. First verdict was 'not guilty', & the second verdict was 'guilty'. The police had done their homework in the 2nd, high profile case. They hadn't, in the 1st case.
