I went there yesterday to see if I could get my prescriptions filled and asked when I could see the doctor. She said to come back monday, which I will, but she also said that I could not get 2 of my prescriptions. I have heard a lot about doctors who charge 10-20,000 for a visit and will pretty much write you anything for which you have proof of using currently. I have official prescriptions that I got from my doc in the states, as well as the bottles they came in. I NEED these meds, they are very important. My 3 month supply is almost gone. On top of the difficulties, this place is charging a W35,000 registration fee.
Can someone tell me if I need to see someone else? I am visiting right now but hope to have a job here in the spring and would like to get established somewhere. Is there a better place in seoul? Would a "local" doctor be a better bet? I have not made any Korean friends which may help me with the language. I'm pretty lost and figured that with all the expertise here I could count on you guys!
Please help me!
