Does anyone have any recommendations for a LCD/Plasma Television/Monitor? I'm looking for something around the 19" range and not too fancy / expensive. And since I've never used one, any information I should be aware of would be great too. |

19 inch is a relatively small size compared to the technology available, so you should have some great choices for an affordable price.
What kind of budget do you have? I think that is the biggest thing we would need to know. |

Think cheapo. I'm not familiar with the price range of these pieces of kit so I can't really say for sure. And 21" would be nicer. It doesn't need to be that big though, because I have little desk space and not much distance to the screen, so I don't want it to be too big. |

You should be able to find a cheap 22" for around 200k, and they feel a lot bigger than 19" which will be around 150k.
I'd go for a cheap 22" and just make sure you check it (or at least check a review) for backlight bleed (light edges when the screen is black) and ghosting (fast moving images appear blurry or have trails). |
