Want to make juice and smoothies...

Works well enough, but is a bit on the small side. Not effective for blending large quantities, but it does have a filter so you can easily make juice.

You can use foreign credit cards. I think it's fairly common to see similar brands and products in those Hi Marts. I went with buythekorea.com because the shipping cost was pretty decent.

I was kinda disappointed that I wasn't actually able to buy 'the korea'.

prefer a cheap and used blender if someone has one they want to get rid of....

A basic blender at Lotte mart or E-mart is only 20k. How much cheaper do you want? Cost more in time and shipping for a used one.

Yeah, I can totally get wanting to find a really cheap blender, but at the end of the day they do tend to loose their motor power over time. If you're making smoothies or juices every morning you may want to get a brand new one.

Also, the shipping on the site I mentioned is 2,500 won. Cheap.
