hi everyone,
I am looking to buy a round-trip plane ticket for my sister who's coming to visit during her winter break.... what's a good site to use? When would be the best time to purchase the ticket?
Thanks in advance! |

| my experience... get a koworker to do a search for your on the internet (or go to a travel agent)... every time i've had to buy a ticket, the cheapest i could find has always been several hundred more than a koworker could find... just bought a ticket to cambodia for 400,000 won cheaper by letting a koworker use my computer for 10 minutes... i bought them a fancy coffee from starbucks and it was money well spent! |

| One good site to check, especially if it's last minute, is www.bt-store.com (Best Travel Store)... got my one way ticket to Seoul from there about 4 days before I left Boston for only about $770. Only problem was not being able to choose my seat for the San Fran-Seoul section & ending up in the middle seat. Yuck. But I think that was due to the airline, not the website. |
