I just recently adopted a cat from another expat who couldn't take him home with here. I'm about halfway through my contract so it's probably about time to star getting him ready with vaccinations and such. Has anyone gotten their pet microchipped here?
I know he went to Dr. Choi in Itaewon before I got him, but any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Also, does anyone know about how much it should run?
Thanks! |

| I'm guessing the microchipping is a way to find the cat if it gets lost? |

*shrug* I do know that Japan won't let you import a pet unless it's microchipped to their specs (certain frequencies). |

Call Dr. Choi. They do do it here.
I think they can just flash the chip electronically with the new owners name.
No need to dig it out with a rusty knife or anything. |
