HAS ANYONE USED TEACHESLKOREA.COM BEFORE AS A RECRUITER. I HAVE A FRIEND WHO SAID HER AND HER HUSBAND GOT JOBS IN KOREA BUT YET THEY HAVE BEEN STUCK IN THEIR HOME COUNTRY HOMELESS AND JOBLESS FOR A MONTH BECAUSE APPARENTLY THE CONSULATE IS BACKED UP WITH VISA PROCESSING.

IS THIS TRUE!?

I HAVE NEVER HAD MY IT TAKE MORE THAN 1 WEEK TO GET MY VISA NUMBER FROM THE CONSULATE, EVE WITH THESE NEW LAWS MY VISA TOOK 1 WEEK. WHY ARE THEY TELLING HER THIS.

DID TEACHESLKOREA.COM JUST SCAM HER?

Geez, I'm not a grammar nazi, but your post is riddled with misspellings, punctuation mistakes and the worst of all, ALL CAPS. Is your friend aware you are representing him/her in this manner?

Learn how to talk like a normal person and maybe someone will answer your question.

The duo needs to wake up in the morning, give this agency the middle-finger salute, call up the consulate and tell 'em they've changed their minds, and dive back into the job-hunt pool again.

Absolutely no way is the consulate back-log so bad one needs to wait a month (or longer) for a visa. I assume this couple has been waiting for longer than a month. They became homeless the day they were supposed to fly off to Korea but didn't. How long were they waiting before they started sleeping under bridges?

Is there anyone in Korea my friend can contact about this situation? I don't know how recruiters always work and don't have the same visa as she would, so I dont know what it takes to get an english teaching visa.

If you can't tell from all the great remarks about my grammar, you can rest peacefully knowing I don't teach English.

Thanks for any help.
