I remember there was talk of this as a sort of peace offering after the stricter visa guidelines. Has anyone heard if there was forward momentum in this direction since they slammed our collective genitalia in the metaphorical car door? |

You can work 2 jobs on an E2 visa, but you have to okay it with immigration and have a letter of consent from your primary employer. |

you CAN legally teach privates
but you have to fill out a bunch of paperwork
it's a pain only worth it with a reliable, longterm private
(no they have not streamlined the process to make it easier) |

And there is cap on what you can charge...meaning people will still do it illegally.
Less honesty
Less taxes for the government
Less availability for Korean families
Higher private wages for Korean families
More money for foreigners willing to break the law |
