I bought a ticket from the Air France website about 10 days ago using my credit card from home. I have received an e-ticket from them saying my ticket is confirmed and the payment method. However, I just checked my online banking and nothing has been charged to my credit card. I was out with friends the other night and I'm pretty sure someone said they don't charge your credit card until around the time you fly. Is this right? That would be perfect cos it would give me some time to wait for a better exchange rate to send money home.
