Cool, I hope it works out well for you to the end. Have fun when you can and get out to do things. Finding Korean friends that take you out in their car is the key to doing Korea as you won't know how to go nor have a car to go to the real places outside of Seoul. Where are you at? Seoul, some other city, a small town, or a rural area? Enjoy your honeymoon phase. Smile Shocked Really, good luck to you and enjoy your sojourn.

Mine were too.

6 and a half years later, it's still rocking.

Don't believe the haters.

Peace.

It's especially crazy since my international exchange classes are all a cinch, girls on campus love me (they even love the odd Dutch guy just because he's exotic), and I share an apartment with international students who go out all the time. The best thing by far though has been my Korean friends, who mostly live in Apgujeong and have been here with me EVERY DAY since the start to lend a helping hand and hang out with me.

Today a guy on campus picked me up then all of a sudden I was in Apgu again doing a Burger King commercial for four hours. It was fun!

Korean universities also have way more clubs than mine did. I joined the bodybuilding club, Judo club, snowboarding club, and hostel club (traveling). All are such awesome ways to make friends.

Screw off dick breath. Seriously take a minute to evaluate whether you are happy spending your time trolling around here. You couldn't go out and do something else like go exercise or meet friends?

I've been here a little over 5 years and still love it. In the end, it's all what you make of it.

Enjoy the rest of your time here.

Bryan,

Wow take a chill pill. You've been here for 2 weeks you say...

I just wished you welcome and you start giving me lip. Not cool, Bryan, not cool!

Guess you didn't get the irony in my post.
Oh well, anyway thank you for advertising your true colors.

Again, welcome to Korea, buddy.

Bryan,

You don't have to get us all to sign up to how happy you are; just relax and enjoy it.

It sounds exciting. I miss the thrill of the first few months. It's such an 'alive' time. I've been here forever and it's still good, but the shiny new car feeling is gone. Alas.

Hope things continue to go well for all the newbies.

Bryan, I think it's great, you really seem to enjoy yourself and have some friends too, and activities. I'm sure you'll have a fantastic year. I've been here for 6 months and I'm still very much enjoying it.
