Japan has IHOP, and I think IHOP would clean up here. |

Speaking of bars, there is a smart entrepreneur near Ewha Womens� University. He opened a mini bar on a mobile cart, on the sidewalk. He has about 35 various mixed drinks on his menu and they�re all reasonably priced, ranging from 3k-4k won. All his drinks are served in a plastic bag with ice and a straw.
He has a perfect location with a high foot traffic and no local bars to compete with in the vicinity. Since he operates from a mobile cart on the sidewalk he has no lease to deal with. I am not sure how the hell he got his liquor license to sell alcohol outside but the police don�t bother him. I am sure he�s making a killing, as I ordered a few drinks from him the other day, as I wanted to feel a light buzz from a couple of drinks on beautiful warm sunny day.
Back to topic, I might be interested in a multi party business partnership. |

After McCain wins the election we could start a business finding Americans with brains a new country to live in.
I like when he said the other day how amazing it was that 266 immigrants received green cards by fighting for America in Iraq. That is so touching.
Could put a new question on the immigration forms.

Hell yeah,
I've seen in central Daegu they sell pancake-waffle wraps. Selling like hotcakes (I guess thats where the term comes from). A lot of western food really takes off here, anything is enough of novelty to rake in the cash.
In addition to the Koreans who would flip for it, imagine all the expats who are dying for a taste of good warm spongy waffle glazed in strawberry jam, clouded with soft whipped cream....
I'd like to help start a classy fancy pants pancake Ihop. If anyone has been to like five star buffets or like hotel hyat resturants they could imagine it. Tables drapped with white satin cloth with a simple but elegant flower centerpieces. Staff well kempt and in tight white shirts, black pants and vests. Light lounge jazz music plaiying. It'd give people an excuse to get all dressed up for waffles.... It seems like a lot of people here are finding excuses to get all dolled up with nowhere to go. This way you could satisfy two needs. (Because really, the low cost waffle vendors exist on the street)
It'd kinda be like a desert place, but hell, waffles and pancakes are for all meals of the day as IHOP has shown us.
I've been a manager of Fugakyu a large classy sushi place. If anyone is interested let me know.

I was thinking moreso Harolds Chicken.....it's more of a illinois thing, but the koreans will love it...like they do all fried chicken places.
Plus low overhead and start up costs....seriously they all look like this

The great thing is, even if koreans don't bite, I'll get a steady stream of soldiers coming in and introducing the chain to their friends.
Plus they have the best french fries ever with their sweet sauce.
My Co-teacher owns a baskin robbins so she has experience in running western buisness....she's interested and so are my parents....I've been trying to reach Harrolds head office to no avail by phone however. |
