I like how there's a free drink with entry for a straight-edge show.
A few days ago I got a call from Kiseok, the promoter. He's sweating before the show and I don't blame him. The underground music scene has not needed support this badly in over four years. Don't sit out this show waiting for the next because it might never come. |

yeah, don't just wait for the next time some fruity pop-punk band who played the warp tour comes. do your best to support the local scene too, or it won't exist.
even if the bands suck (some of them, in my opinion, do), pay your admission, hang out with some cool people and don't go to tinpan and then subsequently complain about how you hung out with a bunch of frosted-tip guidos and girls who can't stop talking about how their eyes were opened on their trip to thailand. |

Go to the show or Paul will take you outside and show you what punk rocks all about. I'll never forget that at the Queers show with beer flying up on the amps and Paul yelling at the crowd with Joe Queer just looking at him. Well I will be there and if I can still fit into my 13 Steps shirt I will wear it. |

Paul won't be there. He's going to Iraq to take Iraqis outside and show them what punk rock's all about.
I hate it when people spill beer on equipment and call it punk rock. No, punk rock is when you try not to drive a punk club out of business through expensive equipment replacements. |

especially when it's done by some dumb snowboarder jock whose name should be "fist magnet" rather than "dave" |
