I know many of you might think this is silly but...
I'm moving to korea next month and I know it's really humid. When I lived in Japan you could get a straight perm anywhere... without it my hair frizzes so my question is... can you get a straight perm anywhere in korea?
Also, are there places that does western hair? Cuts and color?
Okay thanks! |
I have V frizzy hair and they do a good job of it; they don't layer too much.
A straight perm is not that hard to come by and the english word might be understood, the Korean is similar 'straitu permu' (or something like that).
A lot of places will do it, they need a few hours and the last place i asked asked for 50,000 Won, they all seem to be charging that now.
I shopped around and found the cream to do it for 5,000 Won. There are also electric straighteners here.
Colours, some places, may have to go to a decent sized city.
Not sure what you mean by western hair but Itaewon in Seoul has various hairdressers who do things like corn rows and stuff.
Outside of itaewon it would be hard but if desperate you can go there to the hairdresser.
In the end it may not be cheap but it can be done. |
