I have been in Korea for 5 years and I have always been able to find size 13 (310mm) shoes in Itaewon. But over the last year the Nike, Addidas, Reebok, and New Balance stores have all stopped carrying or ordering any big-sized shoes.

My girlfriend and I have been looking on Korean websites and it is hard to find good shoes past 300mm.

New World shoes in Itaewon has some shoes, but the selection is limited and they don't have the best stuff. For my knees and semi-flat feet I generally need to wear top of the line runners from New Blance, Nike, or Reebok.

Does anyone know anywhere to get those kinds of shoes in Korea? Any websites? Most of the international websites I found like NewBalance.com won't deliver to Korea or have a Korean subsidiary site that gasp! doesn't stock over sizes 12.

I'm trying to avoid doing what my buddy did and ordering 4 pairs from the Canadian store to his Mom's place, then having her send them over. Did work out fairly well and efficiently for him though. But still, it would be nice to handle it myself. Anyone know any alternatives?

Try the Orange outlets, they seem to always have a lot of large size shoes at a fraction of the regular store price. My local has timberland and Columbia sizes 12/13 wide or normal for like 40,000 a pair. The same shoes that if u go to the main stores sell for 120,000 or more and they usually never have large sizes in stock. I always buy a pair when I go cause it's such a bargain but usually never wear them. Laughing

Oh well, won't have to buy shoes for quite a while. I wear an old pair of shoes to work and then change into my slippers. I haven't wore my numerous amount of dress shoes in years.

Anyone know why the Nike, Adidas and Reebok stores stopped carrying large sizes?

It doesn't make much sense since they must have been doing fair business what with their monopoly on large size shoes in Korea. Itaewon is (was) the only place in Korea I can (could) find my size sneaker.

That web site is GREAT! If they can get kids to pay 45K for an idiotic looking baseball hat, then there is hope for anyone's business proposal!
