If you are truly honest with yourself, you will no doubt admit - if only in the quiet times when you find yourself alone - that you harbour some form of prejudice or bigotry. I admit I do, although I am by no means a racist or bigot. My personal life precludes that.
A recent poll in the USA has shown that there is a large enough percentage of the voting democrat public that will not vote for Obama simply because he is black, that it can cost him the election.
So the question is, would you let skin colour, religion, or some other such factor play a pivotal role in whom you would vote for? There are things that would make it highly unlikely I would vote for someone for President. I wouldn't vote for a Muslim out of fear (right or wrong) that there may be radical elements closely aligned with him or her that could sway their judgment. |

I'd never vote for a Democrat or Republican for president (except for Ron Paul). |

Bigotry and racism is everywhere, unfortunately.
Here is something interesting that I came across: http://www.usinkorea.org/1st/TRAGEDY/index.html. It addresses some of the racism American soldiers - and because other Westerners are white and confused for Americans, this link applies to us too . |
