Weird Vista problem.
It seems that Windows Vista Ultimatum doesn't want to boot anymore.
/windows/system32/drivers/wdf01000.sys
status 0xc0000221
That is the error screen.
I ran a repair with the CD (it's a legal one btw), tells me its solved but the problem persists.
We got in one time, but then IE interface didn't want to load so we got an Win98 look on the computer, and a constant re appearing msg that IE was trying to load.
it doesn't look like a virus to me, but more or less a corrupted file from an update or something.
Any quick ideas on how to tackle a problem like this?

I found that one too.
But somehow the procedure is difficult for me to execute. |
