We are moving and thought we might upgrade from the usual mess of tv that's provided for 9,000 won. Anyone have any suggestions? We are looking for quality and variety in terms of sports, movies, news and general programming in English. Thanks for your help! |

I've got HanaTV with internet. It's pretty cool. It's a watch on demand scheme with a bunch of movies, tv shows, music, etc.
I like it because there are no ads and you watch what you want when you want it. The only downside is that you can only watch what they have in their selection. There's also some pay stuff for new movies and new tv show seasons.
Also, it's all in Korean, so you kinda need to figure things out with pictures. It's pretty easy though.
I think it costs like 11K with internet at something like 33K. I haven't gotten a bill yet, so I'm not sure of the exact costs.
Hope it helps. |
