I was down in Haeundae last week and I did a bit of motel hopping so I have a couple of new ones to mention.

I started off in the Orange motel behind the grand hotel. It was decent but a little old by Korean standards (W40,000). It did have the large screen TV, internet etc....

Then I moved to the Ice Motel (40,000 Won for weekdays for standard room)

This was much nicer and it is right beside the orange motel directly behind the grand hotel. Again it has the usual large screen tv and internet. Interesting everywhere outside said Ice motel but inside was Ice hotel

I also had a look at their VIP rooms there and they had a couple of nice luxuries (big bath, two couches etc) but were not hugely bigger than the normal rooms. The only bad thing is that they were doing a bit of work on the paint at the front which was noisy but that was finished after one day. I would recommend this place.

I also popped into the Black and White Motel which just opened last week (70,000Won weeknights for standard room). This is reallly plush with nice back and while tiling everywhere and all mod cons. However it faces directly on to the red light street and at night you can see all the hookers if you are in one of the higher rooms because the plants on the road covering them are not very tall.

Finally I also popped into the Noblesse Motel and they were trying to only throw me into their expensive rooms and would not give me a standard one so I got out of there quickly.

In Haeundae beach there is a little hotel called the Paradia. It is on the beach side of Save Zone department store. 40000 a night and very clean.
