Korea has a license from Anheuser Bush in St. Louis, Missouri to brew Budweiser, but they're putting the same chemical laden Korean beer in the dam bottles as they do Hite bottles instead of brewing real Budweiser like the Americans brew.
This is craptastic nonsense. Same for the Heineken piss brew they brew here. |

There is only one good Budweiser and it isn't the American one. |

Why does Asia settle for the worse quality and lowest standards in food and drink? American has really gone down too with almost everything made in China these days.
The Korean version of Budweiser is Korean beer; not an accurate reproduction of what came from St. Louis. I'll admit that American beer is not really all that good after trying what the Europeans are best at. Hefeweizen beer from Germany about tops it off and no other beer, but some microbrewery comes close. The other thing about Europe is they produce pure natural beer with no chemicals added so you can drink it without so much negative effects. Korea seems to be terrible about the chemical crap and then America is not much better at it. Thailand is not all that good at beer either, but they got Sangsom rum. Well, Korea beer is a knock off of American style beer, but with extra chemicals to speed fermentation that end up just downright drying you out to the point 4 liters of water can't quinch your thirst until you're over the hangover.
Yes, just 2 Korean beers gives me a yucky hangover with unquenchable dry mouth thirst at 4:30 AM so something is terribly wrong there. I'm looking to go live somewhere next year where I have a reasonable amount of open options available in the choices I can make after work and on weekends. This not only includes beer, but includes every damned thing. |

It's hard to believe that Koreans can improve on an American beer, but I'm drinking Cass Light (bought it by accident) and it's not making me retch like Budweiser (the American version) does. |

Budweiser, Miller, Coors, Hite, Cass, OB = crappy beer. It doesn't matter if it's brewed in Korea or the USA.

I've always liked most Thai beer, with the exception of Chang (provider of the infamous "chang-over"). All in all Asia does produce quite a few nice beers...That is intill we reach Korea.

Budweiser is a little bit better than Hite and Cass but not by very much. |

Because it tastes like a cheap Corona knockoff. |
