Looking to buy some D80 used compatible lenses. Maybe a Tamron 2.8 or 50mm 1.8, also looking at MACRO. Where are good places to trade/purchase such lenses? If you are looking to get rid of a lens, post it. My budget is 150,000.

I don't have anything in your price range, but I think you might look for a used Nikkor 35mm f/2 lens. A new one is around 300,000, so you might find a used one around 200k. Also, the Nikkor 50 1.8 new is under 150k. Both lenses are very good.

If you want to go macro, you'll have to at least double your budget. The best cheap macro lenses are probably the Tamron 90mm or Sigma 70mm. They go for over 400k new. Another option is to find a Canon close up lens to fit on something you already have. They go for around 100k and work very well.

These items can be found, used or new, at the Namdaemun market in Seoul, not far from Seoul station. There are a lot of camera stores there. If you want links to help you find the way, let me know on this thread.

Or you could get a 28mm, a 35mm, or a 50mm and use an M2 extension tube to do Macro work. Just make sure that the extension tube version is compatible with the D80. The older "F" M2 extension tubes aren't recommended for AF cameras.

hepcat, could you please check your inbox? I sent you a PM.

as for the lens, D80s can take a lot of lenses and with a budget like 150, then I second the 50mm f/1.8, it's a great lens.

I found a used 50mm 1.8 for $75, I think I'll buy that. found some close up type stuff for pretty cheap seems like a good addition. I know where the shops are near Namdaemun, I think I'll take a trip up to Seoul. Thanks for the comments.
