where I'm from when milk turns bad it turns lumpy.
I've had a carton of milk that's been sitting in my fridge
for quite some time. long, longg, longgg been expired and yet when
I poured it down the drain there was not a lump to be seen. Shocked

Is it a Korean thing Question

Why does Korean milk not turn lumpy Question

My guess is that its something to do with a low protein
level, I heard that the protein groups together as the
milk sours, but I'm not really sure.

They mostly don't pasteurize the milk here. Pasteurized milk goes lumpy.

Shelf date should be a lot shorter if the milk is not pasteurized.

I suspect that Korean milk is often irradiated to keep it fresh.
