I tried hostelworld.com, and it's fairly average. Not much to choose from and it seems commercial and pricey.
I want somewhere with a carpark, and in-room internet. Breakfast might be nice too. Am I dreaming? |

If you don't mind staying in Krabi town. Where there is no beach and you have to take the Longboats to Railay beach you can get a room at The Grand Plaza for less than 500 Baht.
I got a room in Au Nang for 900 baht a night. This was after shopping around. The closer you are to the beach the more $$$$$$ you pay. |
