I am presently in Korea on a C-3 tourist visa, which is good for 5 years. I am studying Korean at a school with month-long courses, so don't qualify for a "real" student visa. Anyway, C-3 suits me fine for my present situation. I have had it one year and it is good for 4 more years.
If I work for one year, and get a work visa (probably E-2?), would that cancel my 5 year C-3 visa? Or could I work a year and then continue on with my C-3 after the E-2 expires.
The C-3 was a bit of a pain to get, since I had to go to America to get it. They wouldn't issue it in Thailand. I'd hate to see it canceled early.
Any idea?
Thanks,
