Alright, I really don't want to do this. It feels like I'm taking out my golden retriever behind the barn and putting a bullet in his head. I'm parting with my long-time beloved companion Xbox 360 and all its games. Totally not the console's fault- damn EA hasn't released Asian region-coded NHL games for the last two years now, so I've gotta switch to PS3 where games are region free. No point in owning a system if I can't play hockey games on it. I'd rather just keep the Xbox and buy a PS3 too, but that just won't go over well with wifey.

I got the thing in 2006 (mfg date: 01/2006), but it works just fine. No red rings for a solid 2 and a half years. I DID have to send it in about 7 months ago because the tray wasn't opening, but they fixed 'er all up nice and new. Haven't had a problem since. I've also got an assload of games, so I'm gonna see how selling this as a package works, first.

Here's the deal. 450,000 obo (OR a decent trade involving a PS3) gets you:

Xbox 360 console
2 regular controllers
1. GTA IV
2. Halo 3 (it speaks Chinese, though- whoops)
3. Gears of War
4. Ninja Gaiden 2
5. Bioshock
6. Guitar Hero 2 (with guitar)
7. The Darkness
8. Lost Planet
9. Dead Rising
10. Oblivion
11. Rainbow 6: Vegas
12. Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter
13. Condemned: Criminal Origins
14. NHL 07
15. Madden 07
16. Project Gotham Racing 3
17. DOA 4
18. The Orange Box
19. Saints Row

Holy crap, right? I'd rather sell this as a big monster package first to save me some headaches, but if if comes down to it I'll start selling games separately. PM me if you're interested. Crying or Very sad

I know exactly how you feel cause I was in this same situation. I ended up selling my asian 360 and getting a U.S. console, though that was a bit of a headache too. I'm actually waiting for my copy of NHL 09 to get here. I've played the game since its debut as NHL hockey back in 1990 or so. Haven't missed a year yet. Played it on Sega Genesis, Playstation, PC, and now XBOX 360. I did exactly what you did so I understand your motivation. All in all it's a good package for a decent price.

Why not just buy a new ($200) US 360? That bundled with the new '09, is going to be much cheaper than the ps3...they're also predicting a terrible future for the ps3. If your current 360 is not modded, you've invested a fair amt in the listed items. Sell the games for 10 a pop, mod your old box, and keep the new one for live, etc. New box's cost is covered, yes? Replace your purchased games with burnt ones for about $40. You're out $40...not that much of a biggie...less than what you'd pay next year for the nhl '10...you can burn nhl 2k '09 and '10 for less than $4...at least they'll play on your asian system (at least I think the nhl 2k10 should be available). Tell wifey that it's better than wasting your cash on too much beer or too many whores. I currently have about 75 games and the total price I've paid for EVERYTHING is 550...AND, I'll shortly be buying the new nhl 2k9, just to show my support for 2k's newly-found non-region coding strategy. Then again, what about that new 720? I was SO close to buying a ps3, but now realize that I probably made one of the best decisions of my life when it comes to electronics purchases. There's also a good chance of me buying one of the cheapies just to have the ea (bastards) nhl hockey option available. I can at least still play the new versions on my ps2 for a buck. AND, 2k9 AIN'T all that bad (despite what the stupid critics say)!

damn, that's pretty decent advice... i've already got offers for most of my games individually, actually, so selling those won't be a problem. i don't really play them anymore either, since i usually just finish the story mode and be done with em. plus, yeah, i'm really not enthusiastic at all about switching to ps3- i really DO like 360 more- i just need to play some bloody hockey.
