Sorry, here are his details, his wording:

1. to be more specific, it is generally 22 contact hours, classes range from 40-60 minutes (60 mintues = 1 teaching hour), which can be seen as 33 classes ( 40 mins equal to one class/hour). But because a few classes will go to 60mins, it is often not 33 separate class periods.

So now I am asking for your opinions, how much would you ask for for this ?

Thanks !!

You give us part of the story and part of the contract. The rest of the contract and your background is needed to give you a realistic answer.

That sounds pretty confusing. I would ask for an exact schedule or at least a close-to-exact schedule up front.

That is at best confusing....

BUT

add it up...

22,000 for a 60 minute class
20,166 for a 55 minute class
18,333 for a 50 minute class
16,500 for a 45 minute class
14,666 for a 40 minute class

Add up the classes you are expected to teach and see what it is worth.

EG:
8 classes @60 minutes = 176,000
5 classes @50 minutes = 100,830
20 classes @40 minutes = 293320
-----------------------------------------
...................................= 570,150 per week.

What ever the answer is, GET IT IN WRITING attached to your contract or you will get screwed later over a "cultural misunderstanding" or "language confusion".

If it is worth it to you, then sign on.
If it is not, move on.

There is no shortage of jobs.

Keep looking until you find one with terms, salary and location that YOU want.

IF you settle for less you WILL be unhappy and resentful (especially when you get to town and find out that almost everyone has it better than you do).

You asked, so I'll tell you:

Four weeks paid vacation. Ten days of sick leave. No weekend work. Overtime pay (you decide that one).

Salary? 2.65 million won per should do the trick.

15 days of sick leave, no weekends, 4 weeks paid vacation and an additional 2 weeks paid home leave if you renew.

I like it. Throw in a paid ticket to go back home as well. That extra two weeks would come in handy if you need to do a fly-back for immi. I'm still hearing people say one MUST do that fly-home-for-the-scrap-of-paper thing. And these are people with no problems with the CRC or with immi here. They had to fly back home. I'm thinking I will have to as well.

You will not have to fly home if it is your second E2 or you are staying at the same school. (assuming you have already done the CRC check with your last E2 issuance).
