I am going to immigration on Monday to get my daughter her F3 visa. Does anyone know exactly what docs I need to bring with me and how much it will cost. |

Forgot the cost. In the neighborhood of 30-50,000 Won. You need your passport, her passport, and an official birth certificate showing that you are her father. Don't know if the birth certificate must be apostilled since I obtained one before Korea signed the Hague Convention. If you are separated or divorced and do not have custody, you may be required to produce an affidavit from her mother granting permission for your daughter to live with you. If you have legal custody , you may be required to produced a certified copy of the court order granting you custody. Under new regulations these documents probably would need to be apostilled also. |

I went on Wednesday with my wife. I would imagine that the documents are the same. Here is what Ulsan wanted:
60,000 Won
5000 Won Shipping Fee (Immigration is very far)
Marriage Certificate in Thai and English (birth cert. for you)
2 Photos
Application Form
Letter of Employment from my boss
Copy of ARC |
