O.K. I bank with Wells Fargo Online and also have an AMEX Gold Card and a Citibank Platinum card. My problem is that I want to do some Offshore banking and find an online Broker. I tried E-trade, but they will not let you if you do not currently reside in the U.S. You have to document proof that you are there. So, it seems obviously that a U.S. Brokerage is out of the question. Also, I want an online bank that does not require my physical presence in the U.S. What I have now, the bank and cards, I got while I still resided in the States. Can someone please advise me....

Ditto. I don't want the United States to know anything about my investments. If I do, they will take half. Not being pessimistic -- half (over the lifetime of the investment)..
