Ok so i jsut started at a new middile school and I have been palced in charge of getting a school newspaper up and running. Has anyone doen this before or know of any good resources that might help it to get off the ground? Help.

Download the "Korean newspaper project". At a minimum this might give students a start on how to do this.

But assign jobs, set deadlines, just do it.

Good luck with students actually meeting deadlines. I gave assignments back in July and I still don't have some of them. I've called 3 meetings, threatened to kick them out, and my co-teacher has talked with all of them about getting their assignments turned in on time.


I'm in the process of making the second edition of my school's newspaper. I'd recommend using Microsoft Publisher since it has some nice templates that you can use as a guideline for the layout.
