Ok, so I've heard rumours that Metallica is supposed to be coming to Seoul sometime in 2009... Anybody have any info on this? I've been googling it and even checked their website, but it only lists as far as February1, 2009... Any ideas?? I wanna be there, so I wanna be sure to get tickets EARLY.

Are they releasing another album? If so they'll probably do US tour, then a world tour shortly after its release.

I saw them and Tool in August of 2006 at Olympic Stadium. Don't worry about getting tickets early, it didn't even come CLOSE to selling out. The stadium was at 20% capacity.

I bought cheap tickets ($80) in the seats in the back. I then made my way past all the partitions up to the front, and even back stage! Korean security is easy to get past because it relies upon the honor system. It was an AWESOME show.

Yeah, getting tickets to big acts here usually isn't a problem.

Their new album dropped a little over a week ago. If they are coming to Seoul in 2009...I'm so there.

Metallica will be here in the Spring or Summer. The first leg of the US tour starts in late 08 I think. Megadeth will have a new album out in the late summer and will be back here very late 09. Iron Maiden will be doing a mini tour starting in Jan or Feb. The only confirmed rumour for those gigs is NZ. They are also said to be doing some cities that they haven't hit in a while...Hong Kong and Seoul being two of the most talked about. Cross your fingers.
