Anyone has tips on buying a good bicycle? I hear the foldable ones don't perform all that well, but having a foldable one would be nice. I can't stand the gym to exercise so I'm thinking bicycling is the next best option.

Tks.

Peter, folding bicycles are great for around town travel, plus you can take them on the subways or fit them in taxis. You have to make sure the folding mechanisms are tightened before you ride, then they operate like any bicycle.

I wouldn't take a folding bike down any Korean mountain paths made of dirt, but I rode mine up and down Namsan which is paved. It's not that it folds, but that it isn't designed for rough-and-tumble dirt riding.

I don't use mine much anymore because I bought a motorcycle. I've been thinking of selling it. If you are interested in it, reply or PM me. It's in great condition.

Yeah, I'm interested in getting one too. Any tips on good stores? There is a Huffy place near Sinsa St. and the bikes run from 130,000won up.

Bip: I'm only 5 feet tall. Is your bike too big for me?

I don't know, honestly. The seat goes down far and I bet you'd fit it alright. 2 people have already PMed me about it. If I sell it and they don't buy it, I'll contact you.

I saw an advert in a newspaper the other day, but I can't remember if it was emart or lotte that appeared to be having a sale on their bikes. I've a feeling it was emart so maybe take a look.

Hey everyone

I don't know how helpful this is, guess depends where you are. I bought a new mnt bike for 70,000 won and seems great. The store is at Hanyang University Station (blue line #449 about hr.20 min from Itawaen).
Only thing when I went by myself he didn't quote me that price even thought I could see the sign in english nos so I came back with a korean friend.
