| I wanted to play GTAIV today but I couldn't connect to Xbox live. I ran a connection test and my system failed the MTU setting. I was playing online just a couple of days ago. I know they said that Xbox live was shutting down on the 29th for 24 hours I think, but it's the 30th and it's still not working. Is anybody else experiencing the same problem? Please help!!! |

You realize that the 30th here IS the 29th on the other (east) side of the international date line?
The west coast of North America is about 18 hours behind us in time.

| It would still be the 30th back home in the wee hours of the morning. Alaska is 17 hours behind I believe. That would make it 12:40am there. Damn it Xbox. Hurry up! I need my fix. Maybe I should go to the gym instead... |

I had the same problem due to the service outage, however, I recently reformatted my XBox Hard Drive, and am in need of the Optional Media Update. You know, the one that lets you stream new episodes of Entourage to your TV via your Xbox.
Xbox live is now working, but the Optional Media Update sticks at 1%. Kind of a drag because my girlfriend and I were hoping to have a soju free night with the ondol on, a cup of chai, and some Johnny Drama and Ari Gold.
I'll check with Microsoft tomorrow to see if it's still down. |
