Hey all,

I am wondering if anyone else is getting into this game. I haven't found too many machines up north (Nowon area), but I did manage to find a decent one in Banghak on Line 1 (one stop from Chang-dong). The good part is that it's only 300 won to play. The bad part being there is a lack of other players.

I was hoping there are other enthusiasts in Seoul. Where do you play? When do you play? Do you want to get owned by a part-time Ryu amateur?

This game is still relatively new, only being released in the States a couple weeks ago. It's not set to be released onto consoles until March 31st, 2009. There isn't even a great deal of info online about it yet, in terms of strats, combos, secret sheite.

Let's play female dogs,
Ryan

EDIT: Wrong station name as pointed out by Gerjoker.

I love street fighter. Me and some of my best friends used to have some pretty epic battles. I'm stuck in the days of Alpha though, I tried III once or twice and sucked hard. I'm also no where near Seoul.

All of the ones Tekken machines I've played in Korea are like that.

Perhaps 2 years ago, I used to play alot (back home) and pretty much could finish it with all my "good" characters. I'd also win about 90% of head-to-head games. Whenever I play in Seoul, I'm lucky to get past round 1, and have yet to progress to round 3.

Sure, they don't want guys hogging the machine for hours, but a game of Tekken (from start to finish, assuming no challenges) lasts about 15mins tops. Now days, I don't waste my money in the arcades anymore.

I fail to see how me copy/pasting the general forum description obviously illustrates my life in any manner. Even if it's about sweet man-on-man action, as long as we're living in South Korea, it's all good, amirite?

You replied in the same record speed as I did, maybe we have the same job?
Ryan

P.S. I am saddened that this thread has almost reached a dozen replies, but I am still stuck playing with the same Chun-Li fanatic.

I've seen clips of SF4.

The animation is really great, I love the comic style effects weaved into the gameplay. It adds a huge new fresh spin but not in a stupid way like SF3. I love how it looks like EX plus alpha but looks like it plays like 2.

I haven't gotten my hands on it yet. Anyone havea good sense of the gameplay?

It plays a great deal like SFII, but keeps many of the great aspects of Alpha, such as the look of each character. It is a great deal of fun and think they did a great job with the game. I would encourage you to come out and play Eze, but you seem to be outside of Seoul. >.>
