| I'm really hoping to fly to Japan for Lunar New Year to visit my best friend and her new baby. I'm wondering what happens to fares during that time? Do they tend to go up quite a bit? How far ahead would you recommend booking? |

Booking today would not be bad... at least go on-line and make your reservation (if you want a confirmed price and a confirmed seat).
If you book through a travel agent you will NOT KNOW if you have a seat or what the price will be until sometime in mid December.
Best prices tend to be with ANA but sometimes you can get a deal with other airlines who originate here and have a brief layover in Tokyo (like Northwest). |
