| I heard a long time ago that there was going to be changes to the Visa system, which currently pretty much prevent anyone from China (Chinese citizen) entering Korea unless they have a wealthy background and can afford the visa entry requirements. Is there are news about the progress of these changes, or is it just hot air? |

Currently, China does NOT belong to any visa waiver program with any country and China does NOT offer a visa waiver to anyone.
I would be surprised if there are any changes in the near future.

| Well maybe I worded it wrongly, but I did hear of a change to the hefty requirements for getting a tourist visa in Korea for Chinese citizens. |

I don't have the proof, but I read that the Chinese visa requirements to visit Korea will get better. |
