What if it's not true? What if they are living in an Utopian society and want to tell us about our misguided ways but we are too deluded to ever believe them? What if North Korea's perspective on us is the mirror image of our perspective on them? We think that everything they hear from their government/media is propaganda...but how do we know that we aren't receiving the same?

Last month I watched part of a documentary about life in Buk han.
It centered around one girl and her life while she was "training" to perform for Kim jong il.
I won't bore you with details, my post is more about the reactions of South Koreans to that program.
I watched it and was saddened and appalled at the way the North Koreans were being brainwashed and abused by their leader.
I commented on the program to my Co-teacher and she replied,
"Yes, isn't it wonderful"! *>*
I was beyond speech at that point.
