Hey all UK visa holders
Do your transcripts still have to be no older than 3 months old when submitted to Korean immigration? My recruiter seems to be saying that there is no time limit on those. Is she correct? I read somewhere they shouldn't be older than 3 months. These regulations probably change from time to time.
I just want to double check with you guys that transcripts 4 months old are OK. I'm hoping to take a job with GEPIK. |

HI pal.
I can't see how your transcripts would have to be no more than three months old. It's not like your grades will change or anything. Anyway as far as I am aware no. Nothing was said to me about transcripts being no longer than 3 months old.
It is the CRB (Criminal Record Check) which has to be no longer than 3 months old abd that's after it has been notarized at our end.
Cheers,

No restriction on the age of the transcripts, as far as I know.
Just check with your recruiter about the seals and where the transcripts should be sent. I had trouble at the beginning of this year and my Uni had to re-send transcripts directly to EPIK because of some arkane 'seal' issue. Something about seals and signatures and sending the transcripts to EPIK directly rather than them accepting them through me. That's what happens when you go to Cambridge - fnaaaar! |

I would say that definitely sounds like the recruiter is getting confused with the criminal check - transcripts aren't dated (other than with the date of the exams/papers written etc). As an aside, criminal checks have been extended to 6 months now. |

Transcripts are dated (date printed off again for you).... and I was told (recently) that the 3 month rule still applied. Madness.
With all the hassles people are having renewing etc I wouldn't take a chance. |
